RESUME
Introduction : L’utilisation de la salive de paludéens pour la réalisation de confettis utilisable pour la PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) est une technique innovante de prélèvement de fluide biologique. Le prélèvement de salive est simple, indolore et il ne nécessite pas de formation sanitaire spécialisée pour être réalisé. Objectif: L’objectif de ce travail est de décrire les étapes pour la réalisation de confettis de bonne qualité à partir de la salive. Conclusion : Cette technique permet d’avoir de l’ADN plasmodial provenant de la salive sur confettis utilisable pour la PCR.

ABSTRACT
Introduction: The use of malaria saliva for the production of confetti usable for PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) is an innovative technique for sampling biological fluid. Saliva collection is simple, painless and does not require specialized health training to be performed. Objective: The objective of this work is to describe the steps for making good quality confetti from saliva. Conclusion: This technique provides plasmodial DNA from saliva on confetti that can be used for PCR.
