RESUME

Contexte :

ABSTRACT

Background:
Nowadays in Madagascar, reliable procedures using non-destructive test techniques are not yet available for the characterization and evaluation of the reinforced concrete structure degradation. As a result, few structures have been monitored by non-destructive testing methods. It is interesting to present the investigation techniques for the detection of reinforcement corrosion and the evaluation of its severity.
Objective: To present the investigation techniques for the detection of reinforcement corrosion and the evaluation of its severity. Method: Analysis of the wave form and the spectrum of the vibration after mechanical impact. Analysis of the attenuation of the wave form and the vibration spectrum on AMS. Validation of the test result by passive infrared camera. Results: Wave form analysis and spectrum of vibration after mechanical impact showed that vibration time decreased with concrete degradation. Analysis of wave form attenuation and the vibration spectrum on AMS showed that the attenuation of the vibration amplitude of wave form with the cycle of damage. The results by impact test are in correlation with the results by infrared.   Conclusion: This study proves the possibility of making the diagnosis of health status of the reinforced concrete from follow-up of the wave form can lead to a development on the method of diagnosis of concrete structures.
Keywords: diagnosis, concrete, infrared, corrosion in concrete, corrosion of reinforcement.
