ABSTRACT
Objectives: Report the Methods of chemical preparation and X-ray diffraction XRD data for three condensed phosphates BaCsP3O9.2H2O, (NH3C6H4COOH)3H2P3O10.3H2O and its corresponding anhydrous (NH3C6H4COOH)3H2P3O10. BaCsP3O9.2H2O. Methods: the three condensed phosphates were prepared by the method of ion resin exchange, (NH3C6H4COOH)3H2P3O10.3H2O by the reaction between triphosphoric acid H5P3O10 and 4-aminobenzoic acid, and (NH3C6H4COOH)3H2P3O10 by total dehydration of (NH3C6H4COOH)3H2P3O10.3H2O at 130°C. The structures of BaCsP3O9.2H2O and (NH3C6H4COOH)3H2P3O10.3H2O were determined and solved on the basis of their single crystals. The unit-cell parameters of (C7H8NO2)H2P3O10 were calculated by means of the computer program Dicvol. Conclusions: BaCsP3O9.2H2O is monoclinic, space group P21/n, Z = 4. (NH3C6H4COOH)3H2P3O10.3H2O crystallizes in the triclinic system with centric space group P-1. The anhydrous form (C7H8NO2)H2P3O10 was obtained by total thermal dehydration of (NH3C6H4COOH)3H2P3O10.3H2O at 130°C. (C7H8NO2)H2P3O10 crystallizes in the triclinic system space group P-1 and its figures of merit are M(10)= 91.9 and F (10) = 55.6(0.0032, 56).
