RESUME

Introduction : La Province de Mahajanga est connue par le taux de malnutrition qui nécessite des interventions efficace pour combattre ce problème de santé publique. Afin de facilitent la précision des déterminants plusieurs paramètres ont été collectées. Ces paramètres sont les mesures anthropométriques (Poids de l'enfant, âge, taille), la situation socio-économique des mères, le lieu d’habitation, la situation matrimoniale des mères, l'âge de la mère, la connaissance de la malnutrition incluent les caractéristiques socio-économiques des mères. Résultats : La sécurité alimentaire assure la bonne alimentation des familles. La bonne qualité des soins dans un foyer sont conditionné par l'augmentation de revenu, l'accès aux soins. Le niveau d'instruction des mères s'améliore avec le statut d'illettrisme zéro, et la sécurité communautaire. La sensibilisation de chaque Région dans la Province de Mahajanga et la réalisation des différents projets de lutte contre la malnutrition sera recommandée de tous le temps pour garantir l'état nutritionnel des enfants de zéro à 59 mois. Notre étude montre la mauvaise alimentaire, accès excessif des aliments entrainent des problèmes de l'état nutritionnel des enfants de moins de cinq ans. La vaccination, la distribution des micronutriments, l'augmentation de la production sont parmi des solutions pour sécuriser un état nutritionnel normal.

ABSTRACT

Introduction: The Province of Mahajanga is known for its high rate of malnutrition which requires effective interventions to combat this public health problem. In order to facilitate the accuracy of the determinants several parameters were collected. These parameters are anthropometric measurements (child's weight, age, height), socio-economic status of mothers, place of residence, marital status of mothers, age of mother, knowledge of malnutrition including socio-economic characteristics of mothers. Results: Food security ensures that families are well fed. The good quality of care in a household is conditioned by the increase in income and access to care. The level of education of mothers improves with zero illiteracy status, and community security. The sensitization of each Region in the Province of Mahajanga and the realization of different projects to fight against malnutrition will be recommended all the time to guarantee the nutritional status of children from zero to 59 months. Our study shows that poor nutrition and excessive access to food lead to problems in the nutritional status of children under five years old. Vaccination, micronutrient distribution, increased production are among solutions to secure a normal nutritional status.
